What this site does not claim
That is an unusual heading for an about page. It is here because the ordinary version of this page — years in business, a photograph of a clean workshop, a row of logos — contains nothing you could check, and a reader deciding where to send a damaged car deserves better than that.
A collision repair business in Janesville, WI, working across Rock County and the towns around it. NAICS 811121: automotive body, paint and interior repair and maintenance.
The method of this website is simple and slightly unusual. Where a claim can be checked — a statute, an address, a telephone number, a document you already hold — it is made and the means of checking it is supplied. Where a claim cannot be checked, it is not made at all.
That is why the pages here are mostly about your documents rather than our virtues, and why the page this site exists for quotes a law that would let you take your car somewhere else.
What is actually published about this business
An address, a telephone number, working hours, a county and a NAICS code. That is the complete list, and every item on it is the kind of thing you can check for yourself rather than take on trust.
What is not published, and why
None of the following was supplied, so none of it appears anywhere on this site. The structured data omits each one rather than carrying an empty placeholder, because a fabricated credential in machine-readable form is worse than an absent one.
Not claimed
- —
- Year founded, years in business, ownership, size.
- —
- I-CAR, ASE or manufacturer certifications.
- —
- Equipment: bench, measuring system, booth, calibration rig.
- —
- Written warranty terms.
- —
- Membership of any insurer’s direct repair programme, or any insurer’s name.
- —
- Customer names, photographs of work, review scores, awards, vehicle counts.
Every one of these is available on request from a business that has it, in a form you can read: a certificate with a date, a warranty document, an equipment list. A sentence on a website is not one of those forms.
No. 7 Before you authorise
Five questions worth asking any body shop
Including this one. They are the questions whose answers actually differ between shops, and none of them is adversarial.
- “Will you measure the structure before and after, and will I get both printouts?” This separates a documented structural repair from a cosmetic one. Section 102.
- “Read me the part-type letters down the parts list.” O, A, LKQ or RC on each line. None is automatically wrong; not being told is. Reading the parts lines.
- “Which calibrations does the manufacturer require for this repair, and can you show me where that is written?” It is a published procedure, not an opinion. Section 104.
- “What happens if the insurer declines part of the supplement?” You want to hear “we tell you in writing before we do anything”.
- “What are the storage terms, and what do I owe if I take the car elsewhere after teardown?” Ask before signing, not after. Ours is written out.
That is itself an answer, and it costs you nothing to have asked. You are allowed to telephone three shops. Most people telephone none, because they believe the decision was already made for them.
No. 8 The person
Who answers the telephone
Somebody who can read an estimate, during working hours.
No name is published here, because none was supplied to this website and inventing one would be exactly the kind of small, convenient fiction the rest of this page is about.
What you can rely on is the number itself: (608) 555-0142, Mon–Fri 7:30 AM–5:30 PM CT. Read an estimate down the telephone and you will get it explained, whether or not the car ever comes here.

The most useful page here is the one about your rights
It quotes the Wisconsin statute that says the insurer cannot require a particular repair facility — including when the facility it names is not this one.
